About Suzanne
Founder of Flow Psyche
With over 25 years of experience in psychology, Suzanne has a background in employment and work rehabilitation services, disability services, private practice and employee assistance program (EAP) services. Her therapeutic style is warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative, creating a supportive environment for clients.
In addition to her psychology qualifications, Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree, enriching her practice with a comprehensive understanding of the biological underpinnings of mental health. This unique combination allows her to offer a holistic perspective on mental well-being, recognizing the intricate connections between mind and body.
Suzanne tailors treatment to each client’s needs, drawing on approaches such as Strength-Based Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Suzanne’s special interests include workplace injuries; workplace stress, bullying and burnout; PTSD; managing chronic illness; anxiety management; low self-esteem and assertiveness training.
Services Offered:
- Individual Therapy for adults: Suzanne helps clients address issues such as anxiety, depression, and stress, offering practical strategies to manage symptoms and improve overall well-being.
- Supervision: Suzanne is a Board Approved Supervisor and is available to provide clinical supervision to provisional psychologists completing their 4+2 and 5+1 pathways and other health professionals.
- Assessments: Suzanne has experience in Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) assessment for adults.
